Douglas Anderson Wealth Manager, Founder, Owner, CEO
Douglas guides clients with empathetic listening to ensure their needs, values and goals are all part of their comprehensive financial plan. He looks to age-appropriate and customized financial tools, including insurance products that can offer some guarantees, to help position clients for a confident financial future.
The founder of Life Directions Financial, Douglas has 20 years of experience with risk management and finance in the insurance and annuity industry. He holds three degrees, including a clinical doctorate in psychology, and he has extensive experience as a public speaker and facilitator of groups.
He promotes and encourages the discovery and use of a “true wealth” perspective, which includes not only financial wholeness but other measures of wellness. These include pursuing health and longevity, having a compelling life purpose and significance, growing healthier and deeper relationships, and embracing a vision and effective strategies for charitable giving.
Douglas holds life and disability insurance licenses in Washington and several other states, and he has passed the Series 65 securities exam. He is a member of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau and Advisors in Philanthropy. He is also a board member for three nonprofit organizations and is associated with a nationwide consortium of some of the nation’s best financial advisors, which provides resources, expertise and support.
Douglas lives in Issaquah, Washington, with his wife of nearly 50 years. Together, they have four children and eight grandchildren. In his free time, Douglas enjoys snow and water skiing, gardening and travel.
